Purple and Pink

For this look I used Hard Candy’s Kal-eye-descope Baked Eyeshadow Duo in Ab Fab (bright pink and bright purple).
Super easy, I used the bright pink in my inner corner to the mid point of my eye and then used the bright purple from the mid point of my eye to the outer corner, blending where they meet.  Then I used a soft pink shimmery highlight from my brow to the crease to blend out any harsh lines.  Liquid liner and mascara and the upper lid is done.
On my lower lash line I used Hard Candy’s Take Me Out Liner (pencil) in Soy on my waterline, in Luxe from the outer corner of my eye to the middle of my lower lashes, and in Sushi from the inner corner to the middle.  Done and super cute!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

The neutral palettes Urban Decay comes out with are great for everyday looks and for my brides.  This palette contains an array of neutral shades from pales to deeps to create a variety of day to night looks.  It has mattes, shimmers, and sparkley shades.  It'll be a great addition to my bridal kit.  Naked 2 comes with 5 new shades, as well as some old favorites like Half Baked and YDK.  Shades are Foxy (cream bisque with matte finish), Half Baked (golden-bronze with shimmering finish), Booty Call (shimmering cork), Chopper (copper shimmer with silver microglitter), Tease (creamy pale brown with matte finish), Snake Bite (dark bronze shimmer with metallic base), Suspect (pale golden beige with shimmering finish), Pistol (light gray-brown with shimmering finish), Verve (oyster with shimmering finish), YDK (cool bronze shimmer with metallic base), Busted (deep brown with shimmering finish), Blackout (blackest black with matte finish).

This palette is great for those who opt for more neutrals in their makeup and great for MUA's that deal with a lot of bridal clientele.

NOTD - Nails Inc Special Effects Overglaze Polish

I'm obssessed with my nails right now after using this polish.  So shiny, dazzling, and gorgeous!  This set comes in three different types, The Donmar Collection, The Old Vic Collection, and The Wyndham Collection, which is the one I bought.  I think it was around $20 at Sephora.  You can use the overglaze top coat over any polish color to create this metallic foiled looking effect, but I used the polish it came with.  I love, love, love it!!!

I used Butter London's Nail Foundation as a base coat, followed with two coats of Nails Inc Teal Black Kensington Polish (came with the set), 2 coats of The Wyndham overglaze top coat (came with the set), and a coat of Butter London's Hardwear Top Coat.

Polish with no Overglaze Yet

Vegas Make Up For Ever Boutique and Sephora Haul

Whenever I go to Vegas I have to hit up the MUFE boutique inside the Sephora at the Venetian.  Everyone there is soooo nice, plus Backstage pass discount woot! woot!  And they carry everything...pro products as well as everyday makeup products.  Everytime I walk in and am greeted they ask, "Need any help today?"  My answer is always, "I'm ok, thank you." and I start loading up my basket.  They always laugh and say, "You're a makeup artist aren't you?"  Hehehe.  Love it.  Here's my lastest splurge...

4 HD Foundations, shades 117, 118, 120, and 123...the shades I go through most on clients in AZ
4 HD Blushes, shades 3, 5, 7, and 8...haven't used them in my kit yet, but have been dying to try them.  These shades were the most popular.
HD Exilir...great for hydration...gotta have it
2 Star Powders in 916 and 951...I love both of these shades and with Valentine's Day around the corner...you'll see them in LOTD's
A Glitter in #8...really cute pink glitter...again Valentine's Day

From Sephora I bought...

Nails Inc Special Effects Overglaze Polish in the Wyndham collection...looks so pretty, I obssessed with nail polishes...you'll see this in an NOTD tomorrow.
Illamasqua powder blush in Morale...such a pretty color...I had to have it for me :)
Illamasqua pure pigment in Static...L.O.V.E. it!  Pretty metallic white pigment with a pink sheen.  Gorgeous!

I also went to Michael's and bought a new on set bag that was on clearance for $15!!!  Then I went a little crazy at MAC...but that's a different post once it shows up in the mail :)
